Create a line of high-end, sustainably handmade collectibles to inspire young adults to learn about and take action on climate change and endangered species
The Problem
Convenience Economy
Stores like Amazon and Temu deliver products quickly and at low prices, but the products are often produced and shipped unethically. Additionally, poor product quality leads lots of waste.
Products that arrive broken or break quickly will be thrown away and replaced leading to excess waste. Shipping and production are major source of pollution and climate change.

The kidult market is one of the biggest drivers of growth in the toy industry. Kidults are generally defined as anyone 12 or older, including adults. This group is often willing to spend more on toys and collectibles.

Custom Dolls and Toys
High end artist collectibles can take on many forms. On the fashion side there are Ita bags and even jackets to safely display collections of pins and buttons. Plus, high end art dolls like Labubus are huge with the kidult market. These unique collectibles can sell for more than $200 due to the popularity of their design and their rarity. Plus, many people customize and sell their own dolls in order to create more unique pieces.

Needle Felting
Inspired by machines that use barbed needles to turn wool into flat sheets of felt; crafters began using those same needles to transform wool into three dimensional creations.
